Why Be Limited?
Who are we? We are a start-up software company devoted to writing
software that helps people use Windows software. In a nutshell, our
software will make other Windows applications easier to use, safer, and
better. Currently, this site is under development but will hopefully be
ready soon.
To get a feel for what we are talking about, please visit Opti-Storm's site for
software that makes it easier for people with mobility impairment to use
the Window's desktop. This software was written by the founder of Y.B.
Ltd. exclusively for Opti-Storm.
What's Coming up?
Our first product under the Y.B. Ltd. name will be called Private Eye and
will be a Windows tool to keep an eye on your computer while others are using it.
These are just a few of the planned features:
1) Security Camera - Save screenshots on a timer that can later be played back as movie
files. Capture the entire screen or just client windows of certain applications.
2) Application Monitor - Keep track of what applications
are being launched. Information includes start-up time and
shut-down time of every running application. Applications can be locked so that other users cannot launch them at all.
3) Network Monitor - Save all/some network activity to a database file. This will allow
you to know what internet sites were visited and what was downloaded.
4) Install Monitor - Keep track of
what applications get installed. This includes registry keys and
files that are installed or modified. Just to be safe, all of
these additions and modifications can be undone because everything will
be saved to a restore database.
5) All of these features can be maintained and monitored remotely in real-time.
This list will be updated as time permits.
